FC Barcelona B kickoff their Segunda A campaign today at 18:00 CET, when they take on Celta Vigo away. The official squad numbers and the pictures from official photo session have been released.
Midfielder Victor Vazquez, forwards Ruben Rochina and Cristian Tello will miss the opener due to injuries. While Jordi Masip, Armando Lozano, Martí Riverola and Isaac Cuenca have been left out due to technical reasons. Right wing-back Albert Dalmau, central defender Marc Muniesa and attacking midfielder Sergi Roberto, who only returned from the International SBS Tournament in Shizuoka, where they had been representing the Spanish Under 19s on Wednesday, have been given a rest.
Midfielder Victor Vazquez will be the first choice captain, with central defender Armando Lozano bening the vice-captain. Defender Andreu Fontas and striker Jonathan Soriano will be the third and fourth choice captains respectively.
